The General Association of Chinchilla Breeders and Small Farmers in Romania was established in 2010, through the joint efforts of 21 chinchilla breeders.

The Association’s first endeavors were meant to enrich and develop our breeders’ knowledge about chinchilla breeding. For this purpose, several best practice exchange visits were paid to experienced chinchilla breeders and connoisseurs in Denmark, Greece, Hungary and Italy.

Currently AGFCICR has over 75 members, breeders from all the regions of Romania, with a steady growth every year.

AGFCICR has been an active member of FurEurope since2012.
